An Unexpected Opportunity in Florianopolis

On Tuesday our team visited a favela in the outskirts of Florianopolis to deliver some medicals kits to families. This lead to an unexpected opportunity for Hannah Grace and Madison Cothran.

Madison and Hannah Grace...praise God that you available to be used by the Holy Spirit. Madison, something you said reminded me of this statement by Oswald Chambers on Feb 7 of "My Utmost for His Highest":

"We look for visions from heaven and for earth-shaking events to see God’s power. Yet we never realize that all the time God is at work in our everyday events and in the people around us. If we will only obey, and do the task that He has placed closest to us, we will see Him. One of the most amazing revelations of God comes to us when we learn that it is in the everyday things of life that we realize the magnificent deity of Jesus Christ."

What a mighty God we serve and you got to observe Him at work up close. This is a huge answered prayer. Your joy is overflowing! It has been a thrill to hear the testimonies from all of you and getting to "see" the story told is a blessing. Can't wait to hear what God does next. Wow! None of you will ever be the same, nor will we who are watching from afar. Rebecca

madison and hannah grace, you are living out John 15:8 and 16.. I have chosen and appointed you that you would go and bear fruit - fruit that would remain... It is awesome to see the Spirit of God living, leading, cultivating, sowing, harvesting.... to be in the moment,, it is not I but Christ who is my life.. we are praying that your team, leaders, and Brazil team will see the Lord grow in each other and that you all of us will be blown away by His work in the nations... we praise God that you are His vessels,, conduits of grace and mercy.. we love you,, mom n dad ..thanks for the note, love u hannah grace -isn't it amazing to see the Lord live out and pour out the appropriate word, scripture to match the need and interest... it is the Lord, praise the Lord

"Then Jesus told them this parable: “Suppose one of you has a hundred sheep and loses one of them. Doesn’t he leave the ninety-nine in the open country and go after the lost sheep until he finds it? And when he finds it, he joyfully puts it on his shoulders and goes home. Then he calls his friends and neighbors together and says, ‘Rejoice with me; I have found my lost sheep.’ I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent." -Luke 15:3-7

Joining the rejoicing in earth and in heaven over the one of ninety-nine... once lost now found! What an incredible testimony, Madison & Hannah Grace. May you keep praying expectantly and boldy during these last days in Brazil. Prayers and PRAISES uplifted! -Angela Rubenacker | WinShape Camps
